Carvalhal Beach — Attraction in Grândola

Really good beach!!! Totally recommended for all family!!! Since this is the county where I was born I can tell that it is my first choice when it comes to recommend beach. Two cafes/restaurant and beach bar to support visitors. Two outdoor showers to help with getting rid of the sand. The car park unfortunately it is paid but it is big enough. The near village has enough services like ATM, Mini Market, restaurants, shops and new services are being developed for tourism purposes. Locals are friendly even though sometimes might struggle to speak English, you're probably better off trying to speak with a younger person which had English lessons at school. Our family favourite beach! It has it all...starting with the clear quality water and fine sand with the facilities of the beach, organised car park (paid) and supported by 2 excellent restaurants and a coffee bar. Parasol is available for hire. Great extension of sand, Children love it (even has a little Wendy house) a little library and friendly staff (lifeguards, park and restaurants).
