The closest free option after you pass to Troia side from Setubal by ferry, if you take your car over. Free parking, easy access from the parking to the beach (at least in July) and specially for handicap people or people with some moving limitations, because the crossboard walk is preserved and straight and ends directly over a red carpet (indeed) that helps you roll or walk with a cane and or stretchers straight into the wet sand. Long beach with room for everyone and no ridiculous restrictions of use of beach tent of umbrella of other beach devices. Beach is observed by life guards under limited schedule. If you like skimboarding, this coastline is great because the waves break in a tisted shore sand line, so you have high and quick waves growing fast right there. The sand in fine grit and very clean, and you have 2 bars available right at this...

The beach is lovely, it has shared and paid parking on the premises, but you can also park further away and get on trails to the beach. The sand is thin and the water is not that cold. I had a very good time! It does seem to have good structure to attend a lot of people, even with lifeguards present. A lot of party going on, so music is loud all the time from the restaurants (I promise they have a good taste for music) the sand does have lots of cigarette butts, which is not nice it’s the type of beach that you barely go in and you’re already deep in, not many waves, only the small ones that crash (quite hard) onto the shore, not pleasant for someone like me who enjoys waves! Not suitable...

Praia da Omporta in Portugal with its white sands and crystal clear waters offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The natural beauty of this pristine beach, flanked by dunes and pine forests, creates a peaceful and picturesque setting. Praia da Comporta is the perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy the stunning coastal scenery that Portugal has to offer. It is a must-visit destination for nature enthusiasts and beach lovers looking for a peaceful and authentic coastal experience. There is free parking and on-site restaurants, but...

Great beach, great atmosphere, friendly staff, full of amenities of all kinds, fully accessible wheelchair beach very inclusive wheelchair users get free parking in the shade just beside the path with showers just in front and get also free a shade place just behind the lifeguard tower, be aware that only 2 spaces for wheelchair users exist so come early for best chances of getting one. Also has floating wheelchair that is used with the assistance of 2 lifeguards. The water is oceanic, bit cold most of the time but clear and waves are generally gentle.

Definitely a most go if you have a way to get there, buy car, bus or ferry. The water is nice, the beach is super clean. There are cafes, bars and restaurants around. The only down side is the sun bed prices, ranging from 30 to 200 but bring your own and you will be fine. Make sure there is no wind or the water will be rough with waves. There are park parking spots available for 5 a day, showers are available and so are tools to clean your feet. Great accessibility for toilets and disabilities.
