We had the most incredible experience at the Rice Museum! Lisandra, our guide, was absolutely fantastic. She was not only super knowledgeable about rice production and the history of the site, but also incredibly nice and engaging. I learned so much about the importance of rice and its production process. Lisandra's presentation of super interesting historical data points about the village truly added depth to the experience. This was hands down the best museum tour...

The museum is well designed. It is actually an old rice processing factory. You can see the steps of the rice processing and which machines and tools have been used. Apart from this you learn something about rice in Portugal and in the world in general. Entry is 5€ per adult. You can combine it with a winery tour then you get...

A former rice processing plant with a massive steam engine, elevator belts, washing, sorting, grinding and weighting machinery all in its original place. A bit of context and history. A good place to visit if you are into old machinery. 6€ entry fee seems pricey ... as everything...
