Barranquinho Beach — Attraction in Lagoa

BEWARE! If arriving by car, and have parked near by or at the small car park next to Estr. de Albandeira, DO NOT LEAVE ANY IMPORTANT BELONGINGS IN THE CAR!! THIS AREA IS NOTORIOUS FOR CAR BREAK INS.

My friends and I parked here and went for a walk, we were only gone for an hour and all our stuff was taken. (All of our belongings were in the boot, out of sight. And our car was parked back into a bush. But they still broken in through the small wing-mirror window on the driver's door to unlock it, and then climbed through the back to unlatch the back seats and take all our bags. We had already checked out of our airbnb, so we didn't have anywhere else to store our belongings.)

Las indicaciones de Google Maps para llegar en coche no son correctas y al final acabas en el parking de Praia Nova porque la carretera no te da ninguna otra opción para llegar, además es una carretera muy estrecha y de doble sentido, hay que ir lento y con cuidado. El parking de Praia Nova es de tierra y gratuito. Desde allí, caminando hacia la derecha por un camino que pasa por encima de los acantilados, de dificultad baja, llegas en unos 15min a Praia Barranquinho. Cette plage magnifique et peu fréquentée le matin se mérite, il faut marcher le long d'un chemin caillouteux... La balade prolonge le suspense avant d'arriver sur un site au charme fou. Attention aux automobilistes qui se permettent de se garer sur la plage en empruntant ce chemin (voir photo). Gros bémol également sur la propreté du parking en amont, le comportement de certains est affligeant : on a découvert avec écœurement des lingettes pour bébé près des voitures. Préservons plutôt le littoral pour ces nouvelles...
