Aguage Waterfall — Attraction in Santana

A very beautiful small waterfall in a secluded bushland. To get there was a bit tricky since Google maps doesn't give a proper path to follow. Tried a few paths at the end of the street and just found a few goats roaming around lol. Instead:

Park your car at the end of the street and come back a few meters up until you find an alleyway (Travessa) on your right side. Keep following it in between the houses and you'll start walking down a set of stairs. When you reach the end of the stairs (where the rails also finish) turn sharp right walk about 50m and the waterfall will b on your right side. I had the place for myself for about 20 min until another guy showed up for some pictures and took off. Freezing cold...

Park up at the suggested start of the walk which has space for two vehicles. Walk along the narrow road opposite the car parking facility bearing sharp right after fifty metres. Follow the signposted path on the right hand side of the road which leads down between the houses and several flights of steps down to the bottom, a distance of around two hundred metres. Turn sharp right and follow this path for one hundred and fifty metres and the waterfall is on the right. Probably a ten...

Definitely one of the highlights of the island! Hidden gem 💎 which is not very touristic. Indeed ignore Google and listen to the old man that's waving you away from the dead end where Google guides you. Instead, park here (32.7981030, -16.8713669) and find the opening near the road. Then go down and take a left. Ignore the sounds of the first waterfall on the right and continue a few meters on. Tada! One of the best experiences you will ever encounter in...
