The most western point in Europe! The winds are pretty strong, so hold onto your hats and scarves! The cliffs are amazing and the views are to die for! Sunset-yes! There is plenty of parking space-3 lots- so drive to the very end (don't get discouraged by the cars parked on both sides of the road) There is a small cafe with views and a gift shop as well. Public restrooms. There are a lot of tour buses with tons of tourists, so there might be a bit of a line and a wait to take photos at the cross monument. Worth a stop!

Not only this is the most western point in Europe (you'll get to be the most western person in Europe 😜) the views from this place are stunning, you get to enjoy a nice breeze and some beautiful waves breaking from above. It is super high and the terrain is unique. I recommend coming here before sunset and get to enjoy the beautiful sky when there is a good weather.

This morning, I did the hike to the Cabo da Rocco. I hiked from some other beach about 10 km and had the best views on the way. During the hike I saw this lighthouse and I thought I could take a drive there later. The drive here was amusing because some people honked their horns at certain points, because the streets are so narrow that only one car can fit. Then you have buses that squeeze their way through as well. It was not that great up here and the views weren’t as great as during my hike. Plus, the lighthouse was closed off, and you couldn’t go near it. But you do have free parking after you go through a traffic. I didn’t bother to take pictures up here because I took a better ones while hiking.

Quando sei stanco e trovi un posto come questo, rinasci, ti si ricaricano le energie. Tirava molto vento. ENG: I loved this place. Breath-taking view. Easily accessible. You can't see it, but it was obviously full of tourists. Beer at sunset under the cross that marks the westernmost point of Europe and you've made "the moment". That moment you carry in your heart, along with many other little moments stolen from other trips, those things that give rise to the reflections that lead you to be the person you are. Beautiful coastline with Lighthouse. Restrooms require euro coins so come prepared. You will want to revisit this area and the entire Portugal coast once your have a glimpse of this area.

Very beautiful nature, quite neat surroundings, but everything is flooded with Chinese people... You can't walk in peace, look around, or take some pictures...
