Platoul Coronini — Attraction in Băile Herculane

one of the best places to set your tent in Herculane. it's free and you can generally leave it there throughout the day while hiking without a care. it's an easy 12' hike from the road to the plateau and there are a couple of trails that you can take from there: I personally recommend taking the tour of the colored pavilions, reaching the Peach meadow (great view for sunset over mountain ranges) and returning. it should take about 5 hours in all and the exercise is quite vigorous...
