📍The waterfall is situated on Clocota river, at the entrance of the Geoagiu Băi resort, having a difference of level of almost 20 meters, due to a steep rupture in the terrain. The water 💧 washed the roots of some trees from the upper side of the falls, causing them to fall and get partially or totally embedded in the travertine deposits, thus creating successive folds on the entire height of the fall. Layers of moss and hanging plants developed over these folds, giving this waterfall a distinct aspect👌.
ℹ️The waters of Clocota river collect all the thermo-mineral springs in the area and, due to their temperature, they are a good environment for thermal water specific plants🌱, and animals such as salamanders 🦎(that cannot be found in other areas).

Looks like in the summer there are a couple vendors who sell food and a little picnic area. There was also a random vending machine available off to the side. Driving there, you'll think you're going down a random alley towards the end--the last two roads to get there are very narrow, only room for one car in one direction at a time. You basically have two access road to the waterfall one just before the city on a grass parking (you will see a sign Clocate fall on the road up to the city. It was hard to find parking inside the city but the access road from the city gives you the best view.
However, if you're a bit adventurous and don't mind wet feet on a warm day you can park just before the city and climb up the waterfall to the city viewpoint. We did this with 2 kids from 4 and 6...
