The Copou Park is a beautiful and peaceful place to visit. It is home to many different types of trees and plants, and is particularly known for its Eminescu's Linden Tree. This tree is a unique and important part of the park's history and culture. The tree is said to be over 100 years old and its a beautiful sight in the park. It is surrounded by a bench and a small fence to protect it, visitors can sit and admire the tree and take pictures. The park is well maintained, the lawns are always green and the trees and bushes are trimmed to perfection. Visitors can take a stroll around the park and admire the different varieties of trees and plants, such as oak trees, maple trees, and a variety of flowers.
The park also offers many other activities for visitors to enjoy, such as walking trails, playgrounds, and benches for relaxing. It is a great place to relax and unwind, the park is peaceful and quiet, a perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. There is also a small café where visitors can grab a bite to eat or drink.
Overall, the Copou Park is a great place to visit to enjoy nature and learn about the history and culture of the area. It is also a popular spot for locals and tourists alike, it's perfect for families, friends, or anyone who wants to take a break from the city. I highly recommend visiting the park and taking the time to admire the beautiful Eminescu's Linden Tree, it's truly a...
Read moreIt's literally a tree in a public park, there are no tickets, you can just walk up and see it. It's old and beautiful and has seen a lot of this city's history pass underneath it's branches. The Park is full of children, there are kiosks for refreshments and a commercial centre across the Boulevard. There is an obelisc from the period of Romania's birth as a nation and state symbolising the first steps into written law. There is also a cultural venue that hosts galleries, theatre and all sorts of cultural events including a large outdoor event yearly celebrating the 5000 years of Cucuteni culture. Clay artisans come and display here for a few days each year and also sell their work: cookware, pottery, sculptures, figurines and other hand crafted items. Definitely worth the stroll! On the other side of the park there is a parachuting tower where I suppose people go to learn...
Read moreIt's a nice, clean park and most importantly, at 30-35 degrees, it has a lot of shadow, trees, and places to sit and even a nice cold limonade or ice-cream at the boulevard entrance. Great for families and children, but parents with small children must be aware that there are many older children or teenagers, even parents with bycicles, rollerskates, rollers etc. although it's forbidden inside the park, but since there are too few great/big/safe parks in Iasi and no special place for these sports, you have to accept that because, some day in the future, your own child will ride a bike or...
