Peștera Grota Ursului — Attraction in Moneasa

Great program with easy access. There are only some stairs downwards. They have modernized the tracks in the cave, so the 200 meter tour is easy. At the moment no electricity installed, but you receive a helmet with lamp at the entrance. After a long hollowed out tunnel (nicely furbished with photos on the walls, in a side room you can see even a bear skeleton), you arrive at the natural cave, where you can see interesting rock formations. Stalactites are predominant (I don't remember to any stalagmites) on the walls there are pea-like formations. It is an active cave. Looking down from the trace, deep the stream flows. The most beautiful stalactite formation is in the last room, in the so-called Czárán-room. There is a continuation of the cave through some thousand meters and there are plans to enlarge the built part. The tour is about 15 minutes and constantly there is 12°C. In 2025 September, the entrance ticket was 20 RON for adults and 10 RON for children. At the end of the tour, you can buy magnets and minerals. Weekendul acesta am re-descoperit un loc absolut spectaculos: Grota Ursului din Moneasa, județul Arad. 🌿⛰️

Această peșteră nu este doar o minunăție a naturii, ci și rezultatul muncii și pasiunii unui om care, pas cu pas, investește și amenajează pentru ca noi să ne putem bucura de ea. 🙌 De la an la an, traseul se extinde câte puțin, iar turismul local prinde din nou viață.

🔹 Vara, când afară e torid, în interior e răcoare și plăcut (10-12°C). 🔹 Iarna, peștera își păstrează aceeași temperatură constantă – un loc perfect de vizitat în orice sezon. 🔹 Înăuntru descoperi frumusețea stâncilor, galeriile fascinante și chiar pietre și cristale pe care le poți lua acasă ca amintire. 💎
