Despite there being so many international brands in this mall, the fact that the entire staff everywhere is locally hired, it makes for a terrible shopping experience. They are devoid of any training , except laziness and the innate ability to blatantly lie and say anything just so they can get away with not having to do anything. The Sephora store is always “ Wallahi out of stock for samples” so you’ll never get them. The Mango store employees will try their best to not have you use their fitting room because they just don’t have that kind of patience or space, and smiling at customers is the last thing on their mind. Any store you go to and want a different size than what’s displayed, the staff will be quick to say oh there’s nothing anymore, only what’s displayed is available . Good thing they all cover their faces because they certainly don’t want to be recognized as the trained liars and lazy bunches as they are. The Birkenstock staff, every single time, will tell you check at another store maybe you’ll find the size you’re looking for without even bothering to look up from their phone. I got my shopping bad stolen from Mango store’s fitting room and can you believe when I went back to look for it, the man actually prevented me from going inside and locked the door and then came out and said there’s nothing? It was 7:43 and the store wasn’t supposed to close until 9 and they close the fitting rooms?? Lazy bunches or did they steal it themselves of course why would you close and look for something and not admit the customer?? I am so infuriated, how do we trust you when you have to lock the doors and go in yourself and emerge several minutes later ?? This doesn’t happen anywhere in the world except for here, and we all know why!! Consider hiring foreign nationals in customer service, because clearly your locals need extensive...
Read moreHas plenty of open air parking space. A metro station is within a walking distance. Riyadh Hilton is a stone throw away as well. Another plaza of restaurants right on the main street south of the mall. Within the parking lot perimiter.
There , I mean in the parking lot, you'll see a huge exhibition hall. A black warehouse-like structure towards the south.
Inside the mall; you'll see clean & spacious corridors, a food hall on the second floor with a miniature theme park for children attached to the hall. Really a fun place for the whole family.
Most international brands of shops are there. American brands for footwear are almost all of them are there. Timberland, Colombia, Nike, & others like Adidas, Puma, New Balance, etc.
If you're shopping for luxurious items for ladies like hand bags & the likes, unfortunately they do not have a section allocated for such important & prestigious brand names as some malls do.
However, there is a brand new extension that is anticipated to do just that.
Talking about the new extension, a cinema can be found on the third floor via escalators opposite to Pottery Barn and West Elm if you are in the ground floor.
As far as coffee joints; No shortage of those either. Tim Hortons, SBux, Dr. Cafe, and Caribou, are names of the familiar ones only.
One last thing that is well worth while saying is ; the west wall of the food hall is entirely designed with see through glass panels...the height of these panels are expanding from floor to ceiling. During summer, you would expect the sun could outdo any air conditioning system put in place; but. No. It is not the coolest part of the mall, but it's perfectly OK.
All in all the mall is a lovely, lively, and pleasant place to be...
