U 14. veku su zabeleženi sve češći upadi Turaka. Mnogi pohodi na Turke su kretali iz Bača. U vreme Mohačke bitke i Bač je dao svoju konjicu međutim prodor Turaka nije zaustavljen pa Bač početkom 15. veka nakon Mohačke bitke i pada Beograda, biva osvojen 1529.godine. Posle Mohačke bitke Turci su opustošili Bač i ovaj grad u Bačkoj postaje kadiluk Segedinskog sandžaka i sedište Bačke nahije koja je brojala 70 sela, a o čemu svedoče ostaci Turskog kupatila-hamama iz 1529.godine. Bač je krajem XVI veka imao 400 muslimanskih i svega 15 hrišćanskih porodica. Hamam je imao šest prostorija: za poslugu, šadrvan – čekaonica, halvate – prostorija za kupanje u pari, hazna – rezervoar za vodu i đulhan – ložionica.
