Situated in a magnificently restored traditional Seychellois home, the George Camille Gallery is a must on any itinerary in Victoria! The art work on display is the most amazing collection of work by local artist George Camille. His vibrant work, in many different media, captures the creole island life. The work is beautifully displayed in various rooms throughout the house. A wonderful cool, calm space to enjoy this magnificent exhibition!

An extremely aggressive and unpleasant young woman (seemed to be Eastern European) followed our party around this gallery at a distance of around 30cm, literally breathing down our necks. The only reason we could think of for her actions was that she believed we would steal something. A truly unpleasant and distressing experience. Honest visitors do not like to be seen as thieves.
