Victoria Mosque — Attraction in Mahé

I reached Seychelles in July 2023 to meet our son who is settled in beautiful and worth visiting country Seychelles. After reaching my first worry was to know the availability of any near by Masjid and he told me about this Jamia Masjid (Mosque) Indeed it is beautifully located Masjid in the heart of the Victoria Mahe with mesmerizing back ground view. Alhumdu Lillah i got the opportunities to visit and offered so many times, Jumma Prayer in this Masjid. It was heartening to see lot many Muslims, male and females gathering and comfortably offering Jumma prayer particularly and other five times prayer. Many time i availed the opportunity to offer Asr and Maghrib prayer too. I wanted to regularly offer five times prayer in Masjid but it was difficult to reach Masjid for five times being living quite away at Anse Boileau. On the rear portion of Masjid sufficient place is available for the ladies. Jumma Prayer Waaz and Khutba start at 12:30 pm and Jamaat starts almost between 12:45 to 12:50 pm. Ablution arrangements are excellent but washrooms need proper care due to stagnant water in it need proper attention to keep the cloths Pak and clean. Due to almost warm weather few fans installation needed badly due to heavy rush on Jumma Prayer time in particular on all the pillars and on the rear wall to sit comfortably.
