Is it worth going there? Absolutely! Is the path difficult? Well, some 'stupid tourists' set off in flip flops or even barefoot. Always remember that it can take a long time before help arrives. Is the path secured? No! And yes, when I was there a couple were robbed shortly before when they were in the pool and briefly lost sight of their backpacks. Money and cigarettes where stolen!

Beautiful hidden gem! A fairly easy and scenic jungle hike from Grand Anse via Petite Anse leads to this peaceful corner of Anse Cocos. Sheltered from the waves, it is perfect for snorkeling – colorful fish in the water and curious little crabs along the shore. One of the best beaches on the island!

The path through the jungle is quite rough but you can do it both in flip flops and barefoot. The locals go barefoot all the time. I wouldn't exaggerate the difficulty there. Compared to Alpine hiking paths in Europe it's a joke. The pool itself is fine although full of rocks on the bottom.

The natural pool is great, many fish there to see, but didn't see the baby sharks. Please note it is NOT ALLOWED to fish here in the natural pool. I was there for only 2 hours and saw already two tourists with fishing rod going into the pool. This is really annoying, have some respect for the fish and the people...
