As there's no review on Healing Touch (Tampines), I see the extreme need to write a review to warn others about this massage place- it is the worst massage place I have been to.
There were 3 receptionists at the counter. 1 was busy playing with her mobile phone while 2 were busy telling a middle-aged woman (who arrived 1 minute after me) that she couldn't bring the guy who came with her for the massage (as he's a China national with no right documents). I waited patiently for more than 5 minutes for any of the 3 receptionists to just realise that I am also at the counter (I did say 'hello' but nobody bothered; and one of them continued on her mobile phone).
Then I was made to wait for another 20 minutes or so although I arrived just in time for my appointment (I have already made a prior appointment).
The 'rooms' are not rooms because they are simply separated by thin planks with gaps between the ceilings; and you could clearly hear sounds from surrounding rooms and around. Since I was in the first room, I could also hear clearly what's happening in the rest area/ reception counter and it was really noisy (forget about having any form of relaxation).
The massage was really bad. I never had such a bad massage anywhere in the world I have been to. And the worst massage had to come from my home country- Singapore; what a shame.
The therapist was a foreigner- am used to being served by foreign service staff in Singapore and some of them are really nice but this staff was exceptionally rude. She spoke in a rude and loud voice; and massaged in a I-can't-be-bothered way. Her hands also had a lot dead peeling skin which scratched my skin continuously and I actually went home with scratches.
Usually at other massage places, I would be hoping that time would pass by slower but at Healing Touch (Tampines) I was silently wishing that the session would hurry end. I was pretty glad when it ended at 40minutes although I paid for 1hour's worth of massage (as they counted from my waiting time(?)).
I was so annoyed and uncomfortable by the whole experience- the noise throughout the session, the terrible massage, the poor service from both therapist and receptionists that I just walked out of the place after it has ended. Nobody bothered to say goodbye (the therapist/ the receptionists) and nobody bothered to stop me; but I was glad I did not had to listen to any sales pitch- that was probably the only good point (had paid for the session before entering room).
I would honestly rate this 0...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLast night i visited Healing Touch Spa at the Tampines CPF branch for their $58 Bodyter Premium Body Contouring Trial, which is advertised as a 90-minute treatment. Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing.
While the website promised a full 90 minutes of service, I found that the actual treatment only lasted about 30 to 40 minutes. After the treatment i whats app to ask they say is including consultation. I felt misled and cheated, as I was expecting a much longer session based on their marketing. Frustrated by the shorter duration, I decided to add on an arm treatment for an additional $68, which I thought was fair. However, I soon found out that the total bill added up to $150.65 instead of the expected $137.34 (which includes GST). The unexpected charge left me feeling even more taken advantage of.
To make matters worse, after the treatment, the staff aggressively pressured me to sign up for a credit package costing $2,000, with a supposed "FOC" (free of charge) option for $500. I found this tactic very unsettling and unprofessional, especially after expressing my reluctance to commit to such a large expense. When I declined to sign up, I noticed a shift in their demeanor, with their friendliness quickly disappearing.
Overall, my experience at Healing Touch Spa was not what I had hoped for. I left feeling frustrated and disrespected, especially regarding the upselling tactics and billing discrepancies. I would not recommend this spa based on my experience, as it did not live up to its promises or provide the quality service one...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBooked a couple room for my husband and I, both of us came out feeling more tired and sore than before.
It started out well, the receptionist was friendly, and the place looked decent. The whole experience started going downhill from there. The light was flickering when we entered the room, and instructions was unclear as to what exactly we need to do for the preparation of the massage.
Then came the actual service - the massage. At the start, the masseurs asked what were the body parts that we would like to focus on, which we duly shared to be the lower back area. They also repeated thrice to inform them if the massage was painful.
During the massage, the masseurs spent a considerable amount of time on the shoulders instead of the body part requested. My masseur also ignored when I said to be gentle with the pressure. In addition, she removed the blanket covering my legs without informing me, exposing my legs to the coldness. For my husband, his tummy was left exposed to the cold for the later half of the session.
After the massage, the masseur asked if i want ginger tea or water, and i said water - there was no water served when i came out.
The stars were given for the good reception service, nice ambient & music, no hard selling and generally courteous staff.
Tl;dr: masseurs does not listen to customers' comments & not sensitive to...
