Great relaxing place to bring the family for a walk!
For those driving, the multi-storey car park is convenient or can take a bus which stops outside. The reservoir Links to the Treetop Walk if you are up to walking further where you can enjoy more hiking and nature! Otherwise, can enjoy the various Trails around the reservoir like the Chemperai or Prunus trails. Toilets nearby up the hill area.
The boardwalk is mostly shaded with trees so not so exposed and hot. It is better to go in the early morning or late afternoon/early evening when the weather is more cooling...

Read morePeaceful boardwalk walk by the reservoir with beautiful views and wildlife. The trail hugs the water’s edge, with lush forest on one side and gentle reservoir views on the other. The 40-m submerged boardwalk near the Zigzag Bridge was a highlight — walking in shallow water during the rainy period was refreshing and unique. Plenty of shaded spots, benches, and signage make it comfortable, even in warm weather. Wildlife sightings (birds, squirrels, dragon lizards) add to the charm. Perfect for a peaceful stroll, photography, or just to disconnect for a while....
Read moreWe hiked the yellow looped trail, took about 3 hours for 11km. It was quiet on a weekday, saw lots of monkeys, many mummy monkeys with their babies. Most part of the trail was shaded so it was not too bad to hike during noon time, we did the trail anti-clockwise. I love the west part of the trail that goes along the reservoir, its scenic compared to the shaded forested part...
