Pastry Haven by Helen — Attraction in Singapore

I absolutely love Helen’s matcha and houjicha financiers! They are the best matcha / houjicha bakes I’ve had in Singapore and as a matcha fanatic I’ve had A LOT, and beats some of the matcha bakes I’ve had in Japan even.. The matcha flavour is really rich and my favourite part of the financier is the ganache on top. I wish there was more.. I could eat it off a spoon.

The texture of the financier itself is really moist as well. Overall a 10/10. I’ve purchased the same orders multiple times and will definitely be returning for more! One financier is not enough!

I also think that her earl grey financiers are nice! They are crispy on the outside when freshly baked, which I enjoy. My mom loves the earl grey financiers. My partner meanwhile loves her brownies and her cookies. He once ate almost the entire packet in an hour lol.

Hopefully one day there will be matcha cakes as well - I will definitely be purchasing those! :3

What I love about her bakes also is that the sweetness is just right! I’m someone who doesn’t really like sweet drinks / desserts.

Stumbled upon this cozy little cafe run by the sweetest, happiest couple – u can really feel Helen’s 🧡 in every bake. With only about 8 seats, a warm secret nook away from the crowd!

Quality of their bakes? Chef’s kiss! My health-conscious colleague couldn’t stop raving about their mini financiers – rich, soft just the right size to pop without guilt! 😋

As for me… I tried a cookie sample and couldn’t resist buying a whole bag! (Just….a few packs) 😅 Sooo good – not too sweet, not dry... I only wish they had mini cookie sizes too (small bites = more excuses to snack, right? 😅) ~Oops 🙊

Oh yeah ~their Petite Financier gift boxes – perfect little treat or gift! On their menu ~ a good selection of tea, kopi + matcha selections 🍵☕️

Highly recommend if you’re in the area – but don’t bring too many friends along… is limited...
