I’ve always been a Koi fan. Unfortunately today is the last time I support them. I bought my Koi matcha red bean drink at the Buona Vista station outlet before walking to Star Vista not knowing there’s a Signature Koi here. I realized that the drink though delicious it’s hard to consume the red beans. When I saw this outlet, since it’s all part of the same group, I decided to ask if they can let me have a spoon to eat the red beans in the cup. The staff had to ask the manager and unwillingly the manager agreed and the staff told me that because I bought my drink from a different outlet, he’s not supposed to give me the plastic spoon. However he still gave me but stressed that my drink is not from them. I thanked them and asked since I didn’t get the drink from them, can I sit there and eat the red beans. As you can see the place is empty of customers. It’s only the manager and a friend sitting in the whole space. The staff told me, “by right, you cannot.” So I left. Is it so hard to spare a sit and at least make your space look occupied by customers? And I’m not going to occupy the space for a long time, just to finish the red beans in my cup. I’m so disappointed with how narrow minded this outlet manager operates his place. And also train his staff to be narrow minded too.

Overrated tipsy drinks with barely any alcohol. Rigid, unfriendly and unaccommodating people with no interest in customer service. I saw the amount of liquor that was in my so-called tipsy taro drink and it was so unbelievably little - like 3 teaspoons worth? $9.90 for this is crazy. There was also no pricing indicated on any of their special drinks so have to keep asking. I asked “which of the 3 drinks has the strongest taro flavour?” And she replied “none of them have very strong taro flavour so there’s not much difference which drink you order”…. Huh?????? What’s the point of your taro drink creation then? I asked if they could do a pure taro version they said sorry no such thing and that they are unable to customise as well. When I tried to buy the full liquor bottle at 10.01pm (they close at 10pm) (also you are only allowed to buy it at a discount if you buy their tipsy taro drink), they didn’t bother entertaining me nor was unapologetic about it. .

The fancier (atas) version of Koi. The interior decoration is nice and relaxing for people to enjoy a cup of bubble tea. Over here they serve Earl Grey tea (tea & milk tea series) and desserts something that they do not have in their normal Koi. On top of that they have Premium Tea in their menu where you get a fancy pot of tea for sharing! Sit in front of the tea brewery to watch them brew your tea! Ordered earl grey milk tea series (25% so the sugar wouldn't over power every other flavour) but to be honest can't really taste the earl grey flavour (mainly milk). They have outdoor seating too. Interesting concept, wouldn't mind paying once in a while for the ambience :D

Very bad and slow service. Visited this outlet during non peak hours (no one was queuing for orders). One of the staff called FAY only takes my order after I stand there for more than 5mins (she saw me standing infront of the cashier).

As my request was to add pearls, red bean but no ice, I was informed that the drink will be around 3/4 full only.

When my drink was ready for collection (about 15mins later - there was no orders before me), I was surprised that it was HALF empty. I understand the drink will not full because I asked for no ice, but adding 2 extra toppings shouldn't be THIS empty. I have ordered from other outlets before and they weren't like this. However, FAY claims that this is KOI's standard.

So meaning to say, with the medium size cup of 500ml for the price of $8, I only drink 250ml and the other half is $4 of ice?!?!

Dear KOI, if this your standard, it is very disappointing and misleading. I feel as if I've...
