美好假期 会一直来

Visiting the Singapore Flyer was truly one of the most unforgettable experiences during my time in the city. As one of the world’s largest observation wheels, it offers not just a ride, but a journey filled with breathtaking views, comfort, and a sense of wonder that stays with you long after you step off. From the moment I arrived, the sleek and modern design of the Flyer impressed me, creating a sense of anticipation for what was about to come.

The boarding process was smooth and well-organized. Each capsule is spacious, air-conditioned, and designed with large glass panels that allow for unobstructed panoramic views. As the capsule began its slow ascent, I immediately felt a mixture of excitement and serenity. The pace of the rotation is calm, giving plenty of time to take in the scenery from every angle without ever feeling rushed.

The highlight of the experience was undoubtedly the view. From above, Singapore looks like a vibrant tapestry, blending modern skyscrapers with lush greenery and sparkling waters. On one side, I could see the stunning Marina Bay Sands and the iconic Gardens by the Bay with its futuristic Supertrees. Looking further, the Singapore River wound its way through the city, surrounded by both historical landmarks and contemporary architecture. On clear days, the view stretches even further, offering glimpses of neighboring islands and ships dotting the sea.

What makes the Singapore Flyer truly special is how it showcases the balance of nature and urban life. The way the city harmonizes tall glass towers with gardens and open spaces is something that really stands out when seen from such a height. Watching the sun slowly set, casting golden reflections on the bay, was an absolutely magical moment. The transition from daylight to twilight gave the city two completely different faces—vibrant and lively during the day, and dazzling with lights as night fell.

Inside the capsule, the atmosphere felt private and peaceful, perfect for reflection or simply enjoying the ride with loved ones. Many people choose the Flyer for romantic occasions, and I could easily see why. The combination of gentle movement, beautiful scenery, and quiet ambiance creates a truly intimate and memorable setting.

Beyond the ride itself, the Singapore Flyer offers a complete experience. At the base, there are exhibitions about Singapore’s history, culture, and development, which enrich the journey and give context to the sights seen from above. There are also dining options nearby, making it easy to enjoy a meal before or after the ride.

For me, the best part of the experience was the feeling of connection to the city. Seeing everything from such a unique perspective made me appreciate Singapore’s progress and beauty even more. It is not just about the view, but about understanding the spirit of the city—modern, innovative, yet deeply connected to its roots.

Overall, visiting the Singapore Flyer was more than just a tourist activity; it was a meaningful highlight of my trip. It combined comfort, culture, and breathtaking beauty into one smooth experience. Whether you are a first-time visitor or someone who has lived in Singapore for years, the Flyer has a way of showing the city in a fresh and awe-inspiring light. It is truly one of the best experiences that Singapore has to offer, and one that I would highly...

An evening ride on the Singapore Flyer is an experience that transforms a city tour into a magical journey. While a daytime visit offers clear views of the city's landmarks, the night is when the cityscape truly comes to life, glittering with a thousand lights and creating a breathtaking spectacle. The Singapore Flyer, one of the world's largest observation wheels, stands at a towering 165 meters. The ride itself is a gentle, 30-minute rotation in a spacious, air-conditioned capsule. This slow and steady ascent gives you ample time to soak in the incredible 360-degree views without feeling rushed. The experience is particularly enchanting as the sun sets and the city transitions from dusk to a luminous nightscape. The view of Marina Bay is the highlight, with the iconic Marina Bay Sands hotel and the futuristic Supertrees at Gardens by the Bay all brilliantly illuminated. From your vantage point, you can see the city's hustle and bustle from a serene and quiet perspective. The light shows that happen around Marina Bay can also be seen from above, adding to the visual feast. One of the best aspects of the evening ride is the sense of tranquility and romance it offers. The atmosphere inside the capsule is calm and peaceful, making it a perfect activity for couples or a quiet moment of reflection. The capsules are well-maintained and feel very safe, so even those with a fear of heights can enjoy the experience without worry. While the standard ride is a fantastic experience, the Singapore Flyer also offers special evening packages, such as the Singapore Sling Experience or Sky Dining, which elevate the journey to a new level of luxury. These options provide a unique way to celebrate a special occasion with a delicious meal or a signature cocktail as you take in the stunning views. A tip for visitors is to time your ride to coincide with sunset. You'll get to see the city in both daylight and nighttime, providing two distinctly different but equally beautiful views. The queues can be long, so booking your tickets in advance is highly recommended, especially for evening slots. In conclusion, an evening on the Singapore Flyer is more than just a ride; it's a memorable experience that showcases the beauty of Singapore's skyline in a truly spectacular way. It’s an iconic attraction that perfectly captures the city's modern charm and vibrancy, making it an essential part...

Found out about the August Babies’ Special promotion — buy 1 get 1 free, provided at least one person is an August baby. Lucky me!! 😋 Anyways, decided it’d be best to enjoy the view of the sunset while on the flyer. Arrived here at about 6:20PM on a weekend, only started queuing at 6:40PM. At the time it was a relatively small crowd but started piling up as time went by.

After all the ice breaker shenanigans, finally boarded the flyer. And honestly even as a Singaporean my whole life, it’s not everyday you get to see the country from a view like this. You get to see literally everything, all so little, and moving seemingly slower. Corny ik but I have to say it is really a breath of fresh air after god knows how long stuck between 4 walls of an office. Pictures taken at about 7:00PM+ when our cabin was at the peak. Good sunsets only happen when you’re not expecting them :’) but I’ll take it.

In conclusion, overall great experience. My only complaint is that the Wiggle Wiggle and VIP cabins are obviously not frequently used and do cost a bit more than regular tickets, which I find kinda dumb because it’s just wasting space and the benches have back support. Like look so nice but if never use then a bit wasted wat. So yeah, start queuing about 40 mins before the sun completely sets and enjoy!! :)

Pro tip if you want to quickly make your way to taking the flyer: after scanning your tickets and listening to the first 2 video introductions, just climb all the way up to where you’ll find the scam overpriced photo-taking area, take your pic and head on to the queue afterwards to board the flyer.

Nitpick:

I know this review is damn extensive but THE PUBLIC NEEDS TO KNOW. You rmb I mention about the scam photo-taking? Yeah so after your ride, and once you reach the tourist trap store. Employees will start yelling at you and hunting you to check out your photos. Guess how much is your 5 second photoshoot with poorly edited singapore background? $65+ HELLO?!! I’m no tourist ah but for something anyone can do on Canva, you’re gonna charge me more than half a hundred?? I get it, tourist trap, scam, and the ability to just say “no”. Then again the funny thing is right, the tourist couple that walked behind us was also like “Huh?? $65??”. A bit too...
