To whom it may concern,

On 31st May 2024, Friday, at 9.55pm, I was rushing my way back home from work at Changi Airport and accidentally dropped my Simply Go Transportation Card with a total value of $300 in it after I boarded the train. I only realised it when I wanted to make an exit at Tanah Merah MRT station. I quickly approach the kind officer, Mr. Faiz or Fariz, from the control station and made a report. He calmed me down and took my contact number and assured me that he will check with the Changi Airport MRT team and get back to me. He even went the extra mile to allow me access to the exit. Feeling grateful, I thanked him for being so kind and professional when handling such situation.

However, about 5 minutes later, I received a call from an unidentified caller and surprisingly, it was this kind officer who greeted me. He mentioned to me that the missing Simply Go Transportation Card has been found at Changi Airport MRT and I can collect it any time I want. Again, I thanked him for the swift response and great customer service rendered. I hope to see much more MRT officers like him and help us when we're at lost and confused. Kudos to Tanah Merah MRT team for the excellent services. You guys made my day and I trust you guys delivered to the standards of quality and customer care. Have a good day ahead. Cheers!!!

Yours Sincerely,

Karim Amin Andes By Aston Changi...

Tanah Merah MRT Walking from D'manor terraced house along Tanah Merah Kechil Avenue and Optima condominium before arriving Tanah Merah Mrt

The Mrt is an above-ground station along the East West Line (EWL) while serving as the transfer station with the EWL’s Changi Airport Branch line. It is located at the boundaries of the Bedok North and Bedok South planning subzones, and is built along New Upper Changi Road, between the junctions of Bedok South Avenue 3 and Bedok Road. The station name, which means red earth in Malay, is derived from the red lateritic cliffs along the coast that were once visible from the sea (most of which were leveled into the sea for land reclamation works) . The station serves the Tanah Merah area, a hilly residential area with many condominiums, private houses and a few schools. Tanah Merah station offers a cross-platform interchange between mainline East West Line train services and Changi Airport Branch line services to Changi Airport which use the middle track. The station will also benefit from a future expansion with a new platform by Year 2024. A S$325 million project to add a new platform and viaducts at Tanah Merah MRT station by 2024 will lead to shorter waiting times for commuters and greater access to Expo and...

Traveling between Changi Airport and Singapore's city center doesn't get much easier, cheaper, or more convenient than taking the MRT. Tanah Merah MRT station (EW4/CG) is the unsung hero of your Changi Airport transfer.

This station is your key interchange on the East-West Line (EWL, the green line) for connections to/from Changi Airport. When arriving from the airport, simply step off your train and walk directly across the platform to board the next train bound for the city. Often, trains are perfectly timed, meaning no waiting – just a quick, incredibly efficient change. Similarly if you are traveling to the airport, just with a short wait.

It's this seamless design at Tanah Merah that makes taking the MRT the most economical and convenient way to travel between Changi Airport and Singapore's city center. An absolute masterclass in public...

It's a transit for travellers going to expo and changi airport. Note that if you want to go to the east or west you will need to go to a different platform on level 2, they are not connected on level 2. You will have to go down to level 1 to cross over to another platform. To board the train to expo or changi airport, either platform is fine as the train track is in the middle. Please note that there is no more 7-11 here. It has been closed down. Edit: Cheers replaced 7-11.
