At the start of the trail you'll find a small parking lot with space for 3 or 4 cars. If it's full you can also park higher up at the cemetery (5 min. hike). The museum is a short hiking trail with remnants of the first World War. You can see the caverns which connect multiple structures along the trail. I would recommend bringing headlights or a torch if you go inside. When it has rained some paths can be slippery, so flip flops are not a good idea. A full visit is 30 to 60 minutes and you also have several options to continue on other trails (e.g. back towards Bovec).

We spent a short time there as weather wasn't great. It's worth seeing it if you're arround, especially if you're interested in 20th century history. The walk to to Ravelink is quite easy, it takes around 7 minutes to get there. There is no proper parking nearby so we parked on the road. The visit is free.

A mosaic from the first world war, a few very well preserved trenches, underground cavern system and observation points. It is free, still great experience. Just outside Bovec, not well signposted on the road, but this POI is accurate where to stop the car. A good 300m walk on the fields from there.

A piece of WW1 history and a good destination for outdoor junkies and explorers, thematically and phisically connected with the nearby Čelo outdoor museum. It takes an hour to go around all the trenches and cave passages.

Absolut sehenswert. Der Auf/ Abstieg ist nicht ganz ohne, festes Schuhwerk und Trittsicherheit sind erforderlich. Dafür kann man sich in die Zeit einfühlen, ein wenig beklemmend wenn man überlegt das hier ein blutiger Krieg geführt wurde. Alles ist gut beschriftet, man kann viel erkunden. Wenn man den Rundweg geht gibt es noch sehr schöne Aussichten ins Tal und auf die Soca. Parkplätze sind knapp, entweder am Soldatenfriedhof etwas oberhalb parken, ode kurz vor dem beschilderten Einstieg (eine kleine Haltebucht für 2 Fahrzeuge). Das erste Bild (ich hoffe die Sortierung bleibt so) bestehen zeigt den Weg, man sollte schon gut zu Fuß sein.

Fascinating area. Make sure you have a charged phone to translate some of the signs if you don’t understand Slovenian, Italian, or German. If going in the summertime keep an eye out for snakes!
