The video and signage is very good at the visitor centre but as a visitor this place is confusing. From the bus stop there is no indication of a shuttle bus or which direction to walk to the visitor centre. The site is very exposed on a hot day. There are toilets. There is nowhere to buy the salt, there was no salt making activity to watch. We did see some unusual birds and a lizard. The beach and cafes nearby...

You get good impression about saltworks and good view over the salt pools, flora and fauna in this environment.
The path leading to house is unpaved so it is a bit hard to get here if someone comes with baby carriage or wheelchair.
