An understated gem and must-visit in Nieu Bethesda. We spent a most fulfilling couple of hours exploring the detailed display, watching the video, asking questions and enjoying the guided tour by the talented and knowledgeable tour guide. From being showing how to tell fossil from rock to how to expose fossil from rock, and getting to know new dinosaurs we weren't aware of before, a WINNER outing. Hint: do it early in the day before it may get too hot in the river bed. ...

Loved this museum got to see fossils hands on with a lovely guide letting you first watch a ‘movie’ for 15 min and then two small rooms with some fossils and explanations. She then shows you how they clean a real fossil which is very interesting and then takes a lovely walk down to the river bed and shows you exactly where they find these fossils in the area.
