We had the pleasure of staying at Furrows Lodge in Room 4, and it was an absolute delight! The room was spacious, featuring a separate bedroom, a cozy living area with a kitchenette, and a massive fireplace that added so much charm. The air conditioning in the bedroom kept it wonderfully cool, ensuring a comfortable night’s sleep.

What really stood out was the beautifully curated interior — Persian carpets, and stunning artwork, creating an elegant and welcoming atmosphere. The manicured gardens were equally impressive, offering the perfect spot to relax, complete with a splash pool and a braai area.

Furrows Lodge is a true gem and, without a doubt, one of the best places we’ve stayed this trip. Thank you, Althea, for such a memorable experience. We can’t wait to return!

Amazing experience! Beautifully decorated rooms, eclectic gardens, braai and swim area is tastefully decorated and relaxing. Thea the hostess was so friendly and welcoming.

Room is provided with large bed, extra blankets, electric blankets, fan, and air conditioning.

Kitchennette is provided with electric kettle, gas kettle and gas stove plate, full set of crockery, microwave, sink and dining table with chairs.

Two comfortable armchairs for relaxing, and a table and chairs are provided on the patio. A lovely woodburning stove and wood is also provided for cozy winter nights.

Bathroom has a tub and shower combination, toilet and sink. A gas heater provides warm water even during loadshedding.
