"Breathless views, golden hues, and an unforgettable experience - that's what awaits on a sunset drive along Chapmans Peak in Cape Town!
As the day succumbs to the night, the mountain transforms into a kaleidoscope of warm colors, casting a magical spell on all who witness it. With the Atlantic Ocean stretching out to the horizon, the scenery is nothing short of spectacular.
The winding road, with its stunning viewpoints and picnic spots, offers ample opportunities to stop, gaze, and absorb the natural beauty. Be sure to pull over at the designated viewpoints, where you can take in the breathtaking vistas and snap Instagram-worthy photos.
Tips:
Time your drive to coincide with sunset for the most dramatic views. Bring snacks, blankets, and comfortable shoes to make the most of your experience. Be prepared for possible fog or strong winds, and adjust your drive accordingly.

The final push up to the peak can be tough and good shoes are recommended for this section which be slippery in places.
There are panoramic views from the top but bear in mind that it get pretty windy up there.
The time to the top for a moderately fit person is...
