A feast for all senses! What an amazing experience on a Sunday. Music plays all day, with a feature band bringing live entertainment while you peruse the delights on offer. The various crafts offered mean that you probably will not find the same product twice, that is so refreshing compared to other markets. Arrive hungry and early, here you will be spoilt for choice. If you stay the whole day, will be treated to breakfast options, lunch and early dinner and dessert, with snacks in between. Food featuring flavours from a variety of countries and cooking methods. Drinks of all sorts are available, including virgin drinks. At each stall you are welcomed by friendly faces, whether to assist you with their proudly produced product or to gladly offer you a complimentary taste-tester. Even a trip to the toilets are an eye-ball explosion with fur-covered doors and brightly coloured walls. A shout out to the organisers, hosting events like this can be challenging, and this market runs smoothly. Bring the family and make a day of it...what is...

This is by far our favourite Cape Town market! We normally go on a Friday evening to experience the live music and enjoy the good afterwork vibes. There is a great variety of different food vendors and they really cater for any taste. You can get pizzas, burgers, Sushi, Chinese food, vegetarian options, freshly squeezed juices, cocktails, beers, wine, you name it... They also have plenty of stuff for the sweet tooth and the kiddies can get ice cream, waffles or crepe while the parents can sit down and relax at one of the many benches and tables across the market. They also have baby changing facilities next to the bathrooms and lots and lots of artisanal vendors with beautiful things like jewellery, wooden boards, leather bags, handmade souvenirs, soaps, toys, clothes... They also have one of the best biltong places we know of. We always grab a bag for us and the kids because it's absolutely fresh...

This market is very beautiful and is in a great location. A few minutes drive away from the clay cafe and the best Fish and Chips place in Cape Town. The prices for some things are reasonable, but most things are rather on the expensive side as they are geared towards tourists. The food all ale reasonable prices, is very delicious and freshky prepared. You dont have to have cash on you as most places have card machines, but if you prefer cash, there is an ATM on site. Definitely worth a visit in Cape Town, nest times to go in the morning just as they open before they get crowded with people. A good 2 hours is more than enough to see all the stalls, grab some food and buy a few items.
