Recap >> You may say it’s bit commercial even though who’s not nowadays? However, the point is not the really well rounded marketing across their goat cheese farm and deli farm brand image. The point is Fairview has not really-and-intentionally-pushed their wines, in particular The Bloemcool collection speaking of, almost unknown to public it is amongst the top five in the South African wine arena. Story>> Being regular of Fairview products 10+ years now, nevertheless had missed the opportunity to visit the factory a few times. Therefore, when could finally hit the target was exited like at my first prom date thus went for the premium wine tasting right before ravaging their deli shop profiting of the wine club card which offers advantages to loyal clients. When at Fairview in Paarl, “the Farm” is on the real a beautifully set of tasting rooms. restaurant, bistrot, deli shop and lodging. A majestic staged, neat and clean authentically-stylishly-refurbished-to-tell-a-story farm. Everything plays a precise role at Fairview incl. but not limited to the two adorable Italian breed male goats making their show right at the entry. When past this artistically staged presentation and walk in the premises towards the Premium wine tasting room, will feel the Fairview heritage above and beyond the goats story telling. Compelling and exclusive Fairview Premium wine tasting highly recommended and sidereal distant from on-the-buzz-fake-premium-vineyards’ in the Stellenboch & Constantia area. The wine selection, the service, the food pairing, the vibes. The Bloemcool collection includes white and red, a variety of cultivars which will make you spoiled by choice.. Must admit I was never a fan of Shirah & Petit Shirah although after having sipped Fairview wines have changed my mind and took two boxes of their limited edition Broken Barrel 2019 blend of Pinotage and Petit Shirah among the other Fairview boxes I have secured in my rental car. Bear in mind the wine range at Fairview seems limitless, the Vintage is the classic Fairview label you’ll find in almost any liquor shop. If you love Cabernet their Cab Vintage is top quality wine for less than a hundred rand. As well the Chenin and Sauvignon may encounter more palates then you might expect. Debrief>> Love Brand. Just a bit too much touristy. Quarter of a million visitors p/y it’s massive, most of the times tour buses parked at the farm don’t match with the farm authenticity and cuty goats surrounding. Business is business. That’s it!

Fairview Wine & Cheese, located in South Africa's gorgeous Paarl district, takes guests on a sensual experience that tantalizes the taste buds and thrills the senses. This ancient estate, known for its outstanding wines and handmade cheeses, offers tourists a memorable experience. Fairview, founded in 1699, has a rich history spanning centuries. This previously small farm has grown into a successful wine and cheese producer, known for its dedication to quality and tradition. The estate's vineyards, located on the slopes of the Paarl Mountains, benefit from the region's distinct terroir, resulting in grapes of extraordinary character. Fairview's winemakers produce a wide variety of wines, from crisp whites and strong reds to delicate rosés and decadent dessert wines. Each bottle tells a tale about the country, the people, and the passion that goes into making these exceptional beverages. A delightful selection of artisanal cheeses accompany the award-winning wines. From creamy brie to tangy goat's cheese, Fairview's cheesemakers have honed the art of cheesemaking with traditional processes and the best local milk.

Fairview Wine and Cheese was one of the many wineries we visited on a tour. This winery was by far the most remarkable and memorable one while visiting South Africa. The landscaping outside of the establishment was well taken care of, covered in green vegetation and flowers with a pond filled with Koi fish. A sight for sore eyes. Our sommelia was absolutely amazing! He was knowledgeable about all the wines served. Pour a little extra if we enjoyed the wines. Provided amazing cheese pairs with the wines and gave us the chance to purchase wines afterwards. From someone visiting across the sea; the entire experience was extremely affordable and downright inexpensive. If you're into wines; this is a must stop place. So grab a tour somewhere on Viator or jump and a car yourself, but this place is worth the drive. Please just don't drive drunk because you will leave with a buzz.

We arrived at the farm at 3:00 pm. The car park is large and shaded. We met little goats. We didn't book lunch. There were many empty tables. For those who love sweet wine, I advise you to try it (that's what it is called). I ordered a classic cheese plate, but I advise you to try the goat plate (the positions are more interesting there). Their menu is large and varied. There is a clearing for picnics, but it is better to book it (as it was written on a sign in the park). When we arrived, the tasting room was open. They also have a local goat cheese shop. A lot of different positions for every taste. Their cheese is simply amazing. This is a great place for cheese lovers.

Fairview Wine and Cheese is a must-visit destination for wine and cheese lovers!!! The wine selection is excellent, with a range of varietals to suit all tastes, and the cheese is some of the best in the country. The tasting room is spacious with fantastic atmosphere and well-appointed, with knowledgeable staff who provide excellent service. The outdoor area is also lovely, with stunning views of the surrounding grounds and the stunning goat enclosures. In addition to wine and cheese, the farm also offers a range of other products, including olives, artisanal bread, and delicious foods to pair with your wine and cheese. Highly recommended for a relaxed day out in the Winelands!

Our favourite wine farm without a doubt. Highly recommend a visit. It's on our list of must-visit destinations each time we are in the area. We did the master tasting which includes 8 wines and 8 cheeses. The hostess who conducted our session was knowledgeable, warm and friendly. We enjoyed ourselves immensely. Excellent wines and delicious cheeses. The Darling Sauvignon Blanc, Pegleg Carignan and the La Beryl Rouge are our favourites. Their 3 Shiraz wines (Eenzaamheid, Beacon and Jakkals Fontein) are definitely worth experiencing. The farm is known for their Shiraz wines, and these are beautiful examples of the variety. Cannot speak highly enough of this farm.
