My experience in splash was fun. Other than when I was in the pool, while sitting on the floaty ,I was moving uncontrollably (not a problem) and when I was getting closer to the slide with water gushing out, the employee told me not to go there while I was moving on the floaty (Like I could control it) I fell out of the floaty and was drowning for what felt like a minute. When I got out I was feeling dizzy and I was about to faint. She didn't look at me or ask if I was fine. I thought that was very rude. Even when I was going on the slide in the morning time it was fun, abit slow (perfect) and I went on the slide like a thousand times. By the afternoon it was very harsh and the water was flipping me over and I got hurt by the rocks on my ear, leg, back and ankle. Also when the water was flipping me over i was still in the tunnel the employees told me to sit down which is totally understandable but when the African (I don't mean to offend people) children where standing, the employees didn't say anything to them, i felt that they were being very racist towards me (i am an indian). Other than those things I had a fun time. Please do take this seriously, if I offended anyone by this I am dearly...

Was at Thirsty Whales last night and 3 weeks ago very disappointed in their food 1 st time had a Chicken salad, lettuce was not fresh and crispy and chicken raw had more lettuce than anything else the entertainment made up for the very unappetising meal Last night I ordered chicken schnitzel it arrived with 3 small medallions of chicken the “cheese sauce “ if you can call it schnitsel floating in oil and wasn’t crispy at all sauce 🙈 was eeeewwwww ie chips was not fresh wasnt impressed with my choice Of meal and cold did not eat my meal not impressed Hubby had fish & chips with so many bones not nice at all The waitress was very nice The DIRTY CLOTH they use to wipe your table with in this Covid period is beyond disquisting Will come back for the entertainment definitely not for the food or the DJ that was on last night people were taking their drinks in take away glasses to leave and said NO vibe at all Word of advice someone must do quality control before food leaves the kitchen wish I took photos of my...

The waitress didn't introduce herself, so I do not know her name. She had dreads and was waiting the upstairs tables. We all received our food at different times, so came together but ate seperately. No vegan options whatsoever. Not even beans on toast. I ended up ordering mushrooms, toast and grilled tomato for my breakfast. It came with a spice on it and when I asked the waitress what spice is it, she rudely just took it back and gave me one without spice instead of answering my question. She never once asked us if we're happy. She began giving us attitude when we asked about the food or why we eating at different times. Yet we asked questions in the nicest way and even tried to joke with her to lighten the mood. Found out at the end when getting the bill... Her name is Sthe. She never once said thank you, please or any kind words or even a smile. I've never been treated so badly before and usually make friends with...

A Fun-Filled Experience for All Ages! I recently visited Splash in Amanzimtoti with my family, and we had an absolute blast! This water park is perfect for both adults and kids, offering something for everyone. The lazy river with tubes was a highlight, and the crystal-clear pool was incredibly inviting. We visited at 2:30 PM and enjoyed a discounted rate of R130 per person (note: prices are R190 per person before 2 PM). The facilities are well-maintained, and the wooden decks are a great spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. You can even hire them out privately for parties and events. The restaurants on site offer a range of options to satisfy your hunger and thirst. Overall, I highly recommend Splash in Umhlatuzana for a fun-filled day out with family and friends. We can't wait to go back! Thanks for sharing your experience! I hope this review helps others plan their visit.

Served by Sally. If we were sitting in a fancy restaurant paying R300/400 per meal, I would nitpick. But sitting alongside a water park, on bench seating and eating seafood meals for half that price , I have no complaints. We had grilled hake and fried calamari rings as well as grilled prawns and fried calamari. The seafood was a touch over cooked, but the flavours and quality of the products were superb. Service was so relaxed and friendly, it was like having lunch with a lifelong friend. Portions were huge, quality of the meals were great, drinks were cold, the view of the ocean was lovely. Top that off with the most amazing service and you have the makings of a restaurant that can be visited regularly- we certainly don’t plan on letting that be the last time. Well done to Thirsty whale and the team.

Absolute winner for hot summer days to come cool of and enjoy a day out. Great fun for kids on the slides and tubes. Adults can choose to relax or also go on the slides and tubes and lazy river. Book yourself a deck if you want to be out of the sun, or hire a gazebo or umbrellas. There is a place to buy some nice hot chips and other food if u choose not to bring your own. The only downside is the huge price of R180pp unless you book for 10 people or above then it is R120pp. The other huge downside is, if you book and paid your deposit and you cancel then they DO NOT REFUND YOU.
