Wow, wow, wow.
Had an incredible experience applying for my VISA at the Embassy of Japan. Really kind helpful and amazing service from everyone. Lesedi was outstanding and truly took her time to help me through the entire process. In total took about 15 min and I was out.
Just some tips. Follow the order structure mentioned in the email with all the required documents. They might ask for additional documents that may not be listed on the first email. Don't panic, when you get home you can email them the documents.
In my case, it was my employment letter (So maybe bring that along as an extra document, just in case). You have to pay by cash and not by card so just remember that.
And the whole process took about 2 working days. Went to collect it today. Thank you for the amazing service.
Hope to be back...

Just make sure you do your...

Asked us to book flights, create itineraries, book hotels, without a visa. Said that it takes 2-3 working days on the website but when I went to the office they said it would take 2-3 weeks. Kept on asking for more documentation (bank statements, company statements, marriage certificate) when we sent it through. Extremely petty and punitive when we sent documentation through, insisting on a pdf for...
