Grasslands Driving Range — Attraction in Gauteng

My friends and I visited Grasslands Driving Range today. We’re very new to golf and were just trying to practice hitting some balls. My friend and I went to buy 100 balls, and while he was paying, I was looking for a bucket with balls in decent condition as many of the buckets had balls that were old and damaged, so I moved some buckets around trying to find one with better balls.

After we paid and started to leave, the lady behind the counter asked if we got enough balls. I thought she was checking if we had enough to practice with, so I said yes. Then she suddenly accused me of taking balls from other buckets and putting them into the one I picked. I was shocked and found it extremely rude to accuse a paying customer of stealing like that. I told her I didn’t do this and asked if they had cameras to prove it or if they could count the buckets, but she just insisted on her accusation.

It was embarrassing and ruined what was supposed to be a fun day learning golf. I’m very disappointed with how we were treated and made to feel...

I just have to share my thoughts. Ive been a regular at Grasslands,but I would just really like to know what is going on by the restuarant side and the waiters. Me and my 2 daughters went there today They get the orders wrong even after writing it down .. we ordered coldrinks, but they only bought 2 coldrinks. I asked where the other one was... the waiter said o sorry I will go and get it quickly When the food eventually comes it was only my 2 daughters food that came. I asked where is mine, as me and my eldest daughter ordered the same food .. she said oh did you order 2 of the same thing . Guys please this place has changed in the 5 years and the service is really getting bad at the restaurant side... I used to enjoy this...

Wow a cool place for kiddies to swim and enjoy themselves. Adults can enjoy the view of the golf course where people are training to put. Pool for toddlers told. Inexpensive too. Open Tues-Sundsys from 8 am to 9 pm except Sundsys close at 5pm. I think they said Dec open everyday. Not hundred per cent sure. Playground for kiddies to jump, slides. Very safe all round. Shop to buy eats and drinks. I am sorry we took coldrinks in and only saw the sign later during the day but gave back and bought biltong. Next time we will buy from the shop and restaurant. Will visit berube soon again. Thank you for a great safe...
