Gateway Guest House — Hotel in Gauteng

As a family of 5, accommodation that suits all of our needs, is affordable and is hard to come by. Gateway Guesthouse certainly met all the requirements. The family room was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the surroundings are beautiful! What stands out the most, is the hospitality. It is clear that a lot of love is poured into this facility. Sr. Isabel could not have been more accommodating and caring. Even our children felt loved and cared for in her presence. I would highly recommend Gateway Guesthouse to any friends or family needing a place to stay in this area. We will be going back to Durban with fond memories and sincerely thank you for a wonderful stay.

We have been coming to Gateway Guesthouse for years. Coming from a small town, we love the setting and quiet. I was so glad to hear that the Guesthouse would continue after Brian's retirement. We used the Gateway Guest House as our base as we came and went, over three weeks, to Botswana and Victoria Falls. Three women travelling together. Brian picked us up and dropped us off to the airport, mall or train station on many occasions. Breakfast was very good and a varied selection of cereals, fruit and cooked breakfast. Rooms were clean and value for money. Very quiet at night and secure. We looked forward to each visit as we returned from our trips. We would stay again...
