Riverbend Crocodile Farm

Walking into a place like this you never know what to expect. We went in and the receptionist greeted us very friendly , we purchased our tickets and they were nice enough to extend our tickets for the remainder of our holiday to go back and see the feeding of the crocodiles as well as the snake show.

The feeding was very interesting they showed us how the hatchlings hatched and the guide had plenty to show and tell about the crocodiles on the farm as well as how they came to be. For those of you who haven't visited the farm they have a very big gift shop and a restaurant. They not only have crocodiles on the farm but a few species of snakes as well.

This is definitely a place to visit kids would enjoy this and for the adults it is never to late to learn something new.

We had a great experience at Riverbend Crocodile Farm and would recommend the farm to any...

Visited the farm tour guides were excellent, explained in detail about the crocs, seen the feeding. The lady at the till inside the store needs to be more people friendly, she needs to realize a child when she sees one and ask the customer how many children and adults instead of just charging a child adults rate. Sitting and watching the hatching of baby crocs a huge bark fell from the tree branch that should have been trimmed, which hit me on the head and side of my eye, my head and eye was swollen for a week, The tour guide owner, only asked if I am okay, carried on with the talk. My telephone details was not asked for to check on my slight injury. I left with no member of the crock park contacting me about my injury. It took me a week to feel better. The tree bark was huge and fell from a...

We stopped by the crocodile farm not knowing what to expect, but were pleasantly surprised by the sheer size and scope of the facility! The farm was much bigger than we anticipated, with a vast array of enclosures and exhibits showcasing these incredible creatures.

The experience was both educational and entertaining, with knowledgeable staff on hand to answer questions and provide insights into the fascinating world of crocodiles. We spent several hours exploring the farm and learning about these amazing animals, and left with a newfound appreciation for these often-misunderstood creatures.

Overall, we were thoroughly impressed by the crocodile farm and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and...

This place is well worth a stop for a variety of reasons. As you enter you can shop in the crafts store and then visit the cafe, the main attraction is the animals. The Nile crocodiles are larger than life and feel like we shouldn't feel soo safe around dozens of these prehistoric animals. The highlight of the day was the snakes for me. The variety species and being so close so I now can identify these snakes with fair accuracy pleases me. The most dangerous of dangerous next to the scariest and the harmless snakes. if you are patient enough to look for them in the tanks which aren't well lit for the comfort of the animals there. A must stop is the art studio, paintings are really worth owning, if you have the money.

Great place to take the family to enjoy and view all the wonderful croc's. There's a snake house as well as an art and wine gallery which is both included as well. They have love feeding times and explain alot of cool facts and details during the feeding which is on Sunday's and Wednesday at 15:00 (Only on Sunday's during winter). You can buy the wine from the wine gallery and they sell crocodile meat for those who are daring to try new stuff, also alot of cool stuff to buy at the shop. Well I would say it's worth it to come on the day of feeding to get more out of the experience.
