Par2Bar had a golf tour and was advised to play this course nd St. Francis Links. St. Francis Bay Golf club was a gem, the condition of the course as well as design was enjoyable yet challenging and scenic. The service however is impeccable, I had lost my putter cover nd only realized it on return to the accommodation. Called in a few weeks later to see if it is there, and it was turned into the clubhouse. The Management of this course further arranged to Postnet it back to me in Jhb, with no extra hassles from my side at all. Read moreLocated in town, St. Frances Bay Golf Club is a great compliment to the Links course. It has a very relaxed, laid back style with friendly and welcoming staff. We showed up without a tee time and were paired up with a couple of fellows from PE, whom we really enjoyed playing with. It's quite a flat course and easy to walk, but lots of places to lose your ball! We started late morning and wind was quite light, but picked up to the extent we finished the last 3 holes with very strong gusts. Read moreNice course to play but the front desk is unfriendly and doesnt make us feel welcome. Upon arrival we had a sour welcome and the lady at the front desk was rude for no reason. We booked for 5 people a day in advance which was fine and then upon arrival only 4 could play my sister went home immediately and the women fromt front desk came to watch us like we were criminals or something while T'ing off.
