My-konos — Hotel in Kouga Local Municipality

My partner and I from Australia had an amazing stay here at My-konos guesthouse. This is probably the best guest house in town with the beach right at your doorstep.

On arrival the owner gave us such warm welcome and made us feel like home instantly. The room was very spacious with spectacular view of the beach. The decoration was stunning and we could just stay in the room all day long while admiring the beach view from our windows. The room amenities were well equipped with hair dryer, still water, TV, a mini fridge and wifi…We had probably the best sleep ever with such a comfortable bed. The owner also prepared us breakfast with choice of continental or hot meals. He also organised us a boat trip along the canal of which we absolutely enjoyed.

I have travelled the world and I have never been so well hosted. JP went the extra mile to make our “baby-moon” super special. We were just blown away by his thoughtfulness and attention to detail with little extras that he added to the room to make our stay more comfortable. On our 2nd last night we celebrated my husband’s birthday. JP organised a flawless day with an excursion and little surprises along the way. Towards the end of our vacation we felt so relaxed and celebrated. What a wonderful person set in a magical place. The room was tastefully decorated - we wanted for nothing. What a super guest house, booked online for a last minute break to St Francis Bay. What made our stay memorable were the staff; they were friendly and prepared to go out of the way to ensure you enjoyed your stay. The room was immaculate, spotlessly clean, you had a sea view and the guest house was within walking distance of town centre and a number of restaurants. The bed was large, comfy and the bedding crisp and fresh, as were the towels. A kettle, tea, coffee, fresh milk and fresh water was available for you in the room. Wii Fi excellent.
