Funtasia Fun Park & Restaurant - Welkom — Attraction in Matjhabeng Local Municipality

For the kids it's got a variety of jungle gyms and stuff to do, it's a large area so you run after the little ones to keep them under your eye. As for the people that work there, well the servers are poorly trained and the people that look after the kids and rides aren't very friendly and zero people skills. The food is shocking bad to be kind, a couple of months ago I ordered the seafood platter and it was a train wreck, the prawn was grainy and fell apart(old and will make you sick) the fish was undercooked, the muscles were rubber and wierd tasting. I did not eat the food and spoke to the manager they apologised so we left and thought we'll try again some other day. My wife and I tried their food again this weekend(something simple so they can't mess it up) wifey omelet and me breakfast. What they put on her plate was not an omelet, 1kg molten cheese mess floating on a dam of oil and water, no egg in sight, my pork bangers were sour tasted off, now I'm fed up expecting me to pay them to make us sick, I don't want to know in what sanitary state...

Probably the worst restaurant in welkom, we ended up waiting nearly 3 hours for our food yes we were a large group but the children had to wait another hour for their food, one person in our group didn't receive her order she also had to wait another hour for her food, I myself unfortunately received a steak that was so over cooked it was inedible it was returned and after waiting for another hour and 30 minutes we inquired when I will receive my order to which we received the following reply "sorry but you didn't send back your food" it was 10pm in the evening and I decided not to argue and just leave which is sad because the food was...

Everyone is saying it’s a great place for kids (only) or am I childish??? It’s amazing for both kids and adults in terms of the fun park 🤯 there’s also rides and stations for adults 🔥 (I’ll update this after my play date there 🥳 If you want to have a fun day and feel like a kid again this is the place to be. The prices are fair, the place is big and I feel it accommodates covid regulations. The staff is friendly, their service was good. The food was amazing 🤌🏽 That funtasia exclusive cocktail is not child’s play 🌚🥳🔥
