Crocodile Bridge Rest Camp – Kruger National Park Review
Crocodile Bridge Rest Camp is a charming, small rest camp located on the southeastern border of the Kruger National Park. It’s an ideal spot for those looking for a quieter experience while still being close to prime game-viewing areas, as the nearby Crocodile River is known for excellent wildlife sightings.
The accommodation units have been modernised and are kept impeccably clean, offering comfort and convenience for visitors. While the camp itself is smaller compared to others, it has everything you need for a pleasant stay.
The on-site restaurant is functional, providing basic meals to keep you fuelled for your safari adventures. The camp shop, though convenient for last-minute necessities, is quite small and can be on the pricey side, so it’s worth stocking up on essentials before arriving.
That said, families with young children may find the camp lacking in entertainment options. There are no activities or facilities to keep kids occupied, so they could get bored easily.
Overall, Crocodile Bridge Rest Camp is a perfect choice for those seeking a peaceful base to explore the park’s southeastern region. It combines comfort and simplicity, making it a solid option for both first-time and returning...

I'm really disappointed in the service and it appears that no one...
Read moreThe Crocodile Bridge Gate is a great entry point to the Kruger National Park as you have to first cross the lower-water bridge over the Crocodile River, which is both exciting and scenic, to get to it. The staff at the gate's reception was efficient, and there's also small curio shop nearby. It's convenient location near Crocodile Bridge Rest Camp makes it great for late arrivals (please keep gate times in mind). If you are looking to stay at a different camp, the next one is the Lower Sabie Rest Camp which is about an hour's drive without sightings away. The Crocodile Bridge Gate has consistently been one of my favorite gates to enter...
