The Crocodile bridge gate gets busy during peak season and is quite busy all year round. During busier times, pre-booking online is advisable. Game viewing is often good in the area. Please follow guidelines at sightings. Pull over on the side of of the road where the sughting is. Always leave a space open for vehicles to move past. Please allow others to also enjoy the sighting. Look , enjoy, take photos and move on so others also get to see the sighting. Kruger Park is so much more enjoyable for all when space is made for other vehicles and sightings are shared. Please stay in your vehicle at all times, unless in a camp or where there is clear signage indicating you may get out...

We pre-booked and paid for the 7 July 2023, 8 am slot. The first waiting gate was well organised and efficient. At the second gate the guards forced us to park in a row that NEVER MOVED for an hour. All the other non booked people could pay at the gates, and we were stuck in the office with two arrogant and confused staff members who tried to help tourist who wanted to purchase Golden Tickets. System down. Chaos. Took an hour to enter. We were not allowed to join the other ques of cars to go through the normal gate either....

First time to the Kruger....what a dissappointment. If you are a day visitor with no booking..waiting for.more than 90 minutes. Still dont know if you are going to be let in! Can you please have better communication...little guy urging people to stop bumper to bumper..so to make the line shorter!!! How ridiculous. If you cant accomodate day visitors without bookings..then tell us so we dont sit for more than 90 minutes !!! Just tell us to go!! Waiting for 2 hours and 16 minutes...ridiculous! Will we ever go...

The Crocodile Bridge is a single-lane low-water bridge across the Crocodile River, providing access to the Kruger National Park via the Crocodile Bridge Gate. It’s one of my favorite ways to enter the park as the experience is both exciting and scenic. If you're lucky, you might even spot wildlife while crossing. It is important to note, they do close the bridge during heavy river flow, but you can use the Malelane Gate offers an alternative entry point. Always a highlight starting my safaris from here.

Please advise at your site to book online. What a terrible organization. We came early at 6 o'clock. But we had to wait to open the gate, miles of cars were waiting to cross the bridge waiting time 1,5 hour. A couple of cars each time. And paying top dollar for this park, this is totally unacceptable. I have never seen this...
