This place has unfortunately gone seriously downhill since we last came 1.5 years ago. We love Ken’s wines and have introduced it to many of our friends who are also converts. Sadly the in house experience today was not at its usual standards. We purchased the ~£200 FMC Vintage box, where they originally gave us one of the wrong years and had to swap it out at our table, for a box like this that is outrageous they could have given us the wrong bottle. Following this we then felt like we were being ushered out at bang on 5 while we still had wine left in our glasses, they didn’t event deduct the cost of the tasting as a token gesture which most vineyards do if you buy a bottle or two, our cheeseboard was never cleaned up the whole 2 hours we were sat there, and the front of house guy spoke so quietly we couldn’t hear anything he said about the wines. When we arrived we were told that they have run out of cheese (yes on a month end Saturday) and can only do wine tasting. When we complained no remorse was given it was basically just a "it is what it is" situation. We then contacted them on Facebook to make the issue known with no reply only a automated "thanks for getting in touch" message.
