THIS is a rare and incredibly unique park built all AROUND waterfalls. When you step out of your vehicle, after passing through the security gate and hearing truly the first-time-ever-African-fact, "You can pay your R20, when you leave the park." Totally shocked !!! Go into a GRAND PARK with unbelievable WATERFALLS all OVER the place and pay R20, even that tiny amount for parking. Unheard of, ... It costs more that that to park for a few hours at the Pretoria MALL'S,❓‼️⁉️ No worries ‼️ ♥️ 🇿🇦🌍 ‼️ We parked and jumped Out ‼️ Waterfalls WERE coming over the first dam and flowing down over the rocks and vegetation; it looked as if it had been landscaped and frankly as I looked at it, it was natural. I walked over a man-made bridge and continued to realize that a small Creek was running over the falls. Above I could see the MOST OUTSTANDING green grass and LOVELY Purple FLOWERS BLOSSOMING, and please NOTE, those flowers are over a foot-tall everywhere in SOUTH AFRICA THEIR name starts with an A and they are CELESTIAL‼️ As I looked, I realized the grassy AREA went on for a couple-of-acres with the FLOWERS BLOSSOMING throughout in various spots. I continued in to the closest spot to view the water COMING - at the top of the falls - we're TALKING a height of 3000 + feet or 1000-meters the town of Sabie Falls is that high, and the falls was equivalent to ABOUT-a-6-7-story-building; it was unbelievable ‼️ I rushed to a spot WHERE I could take pictures, which included walking back on the path (I would like to add that at the spot, WHERE I saw the water hurdling over the edge, a couple was STANDING there and believe this or not!?! THEY were kissing at the top of the Falls!!! They were VERY friendly and welcoming to me.) Back down the path I walked under a pass and could see all of the water COMING down very fast and it looked so POWERFUL ‼️ I hope I can share my pictures of it with YOU ‼️♥️‼️😁 ♥️‼️As I turned around from taking PICTURES, I saw a sign that says people have hiking areas there. Thanks so much for letting me SHARE THIS MAGICAL PLACE with you ‼️ 🐦 🎶🌠 🌎😁 🤭😁♥️‼️ It was like finding HEAVEN-ON-EARTH ‼️🇿🇦❤️🙋☑️😁‼️🤔WOW‼️I positively...

Not so fantastic. Under a road bridge. We drove a long way to see something spectacular, and we were disappointed. The road infrastructure for Mpumalaga's many attractions needs to be drastically repaired and upgraded. There are many potential death traps from the huge potholes on many of the roads. Travelling at night or in misty conditions is especially dangerous. It is also sad that many of the natural attractions have been commercialised. Alot of the activities are exorbitant priced for the local tourists. I could not afford to take my family for the elephant interaction and ride. Only the quad bike ride from one of the pamphlets...

God's wonderful creation, but now screened off, requesting a gate fee just for a tired traveller to sit and take a breather, watching the majestic view. Apart from the view, no facilities such a benches to sit on or a shop to purchase water or colddrinks and snacks. To my knowledge this is municipal ground and maintenance should be a routine task of the council, but now one must pay to view our country heritage not really owned by anyone privately? One may not mind paying to assist the municipality, but the "rip off" charges are just...

Visited in December 2022. Beautiful waterfall of the town but sadly neglected. You can climb the rocks to the edge of the waterfall slope which is pretty astounding. We spoke to some locals hoping that the local authority would give this waterfall and the park the necessary attention it deserves. Parking: Access controlled area with security person Entrance fee: R16 p/person Safety: Fine Weather: Perfect view in rainy conditions, however slippery ground with mud puddles

There's a couple of waterfalls two witness at this location, main two rivers join to make one stream. The area has beautiful places for taking pictures and seeing marvels of nature. Entry fee per person are very small, about R15, for that you get a parking however there are no ablutions in the area. It is a bit rocky and slippery especially in summer season, it may not be suitable for kids to roam freely and people with disabilities.

Like the rest of the waterfalls it is beautifull to look at but here the water stinks due to raw surige that flows into the river. There are large squater camps close by that makes it unsafe. The day visit area is old and are in dire need of proper maintenance and upkeep. I was shocked to see the bad state of Sabie. The streets are unmarked and in a bad state and the town is dirty and maintenance is a unknown word.
