Floreat Riverside Lodge — Hotel in Thaba Chweu Local Municipality

Ooh my God don't know where to to start disaster in the making, this hotel it's definitely nor 3 star it's 0 star the rooms are dirty you have to wait on you'd arrival for them to clean the the room. The hotel room done have any soap I mean hand wash os sanitizer for that matter the blanket are smelly as hell. Their dinner was awful we bought grill mixed meal the meat was raw my people and when we complain about our food they took to over do it never give us a discount or what so ever. The rooms do have wifi, wifi it's only in the reception only they still living they are liars I'm tell you. The owner don't care how you feel about his place like wow. Ok the breakfast it's average much better. Basically I don't recommend anyone to come to this hotel or lounge it's disappointing they care about the money not their customers and their cocktail 🙄 lol never taste what I was drinking guys they don't care. The owners try hard to make this place upmarket with luxury items such as modern electric and USB built-in plugs. Unfortunately it is not maintained. We rented a 6sleeper. There was only one wine glass. The kettle did not work. Bathroom door broken. One bed was broken, could not even sit on it. Several other issues. After much deliberation, they placed us in double rooms, but we lost the kitchen and communal sitting area that was in the six sleeper. There is a disability unit. The bathroom easy to use by disabled person. Unfortunately the room smelled like cat piss. The bed too high, impossible for a disabled person to get on. We ate in the restaurant and regret that later. We did not realize the same person was the receptionist, the bar tender, the waiter and the cheff. He should have told us before we ordered, so we could go elsewhere. In the end we waited more than two hours for the food. It was served cold and half cooked. One person got sick. Overall not a great experience in comparison to other less expensive...

Oh no where do I start. 1 star is too much. The place is beautiful, however, the service was horrible. I feel like screaming as I type this review. We had to call front desk using our own phones since phones in the room Did not work. Half of the things on the inventory list in the room were not there. Had to beg them to clean our room. Television did not have all the channels stipulated on pamphlet. Spoke to the manager on site, he does not know what he's doing there. Now I do not want to mention the rotten pork russians we were served at breakfast. They spinned a story about Bidvest delivering the day before and that they trust their product. I'm still shocked that they do not taste the food before they serve it to us. I could run the place on experience I have had from other hotels. I recommend you go there, nice place.
