Rietondale Park — Attraction in Tshwane Ward 53

I just can't get enough of Rietondale Park! From the moment I step foot in this beautiful green space, I feel a sense of pure bliss wash over me. It's like a breath of fresh air, a chance to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and just be.

As I walk through the park, I'm surrounded by the sounds of laughter and joy. People are playing tennis, soccer, jogging, and walking their dogs - it's a vibrant, thriving community. And yet, despite all the activity, the park feels peaceful and serene. It's the perfect combination of humans and nature.

One of the things that really impresses me about Rietondale Park is the facilities. The restrooms are clean, the refreshments shop is convenient, and the restaurant is a great place to grab a bite. It's clear that the park is well-maintained, and it shows.

As I explore the park, I find myself wishing there were more places like this. It's a true gem, a place where people can come together and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Frequented by local residents as well as sports enthusiasts, the park is well used all year round. From Sunday's soccer playing groups to tennis, hockey and other sports groups using the park, the park also offers a playing area for children and dog lovers often gather to train or just walk their pets. Host to a tennisclub, a mountaineering club and a walking/running club, the park has select areas where dogs can walk off-leash. After the recent rains, the park grounds look lush and green again. This is a lovely large park for children and pets to run and play. Enough play equipment to keep the children busy for at least 2 or 3 hours. Great for a brief picnic or afternoon visit. There is no entrance charge. There is a security guard or car guard on duty when there are people playing tennis at the courts. There are tennis courts. The biggest problem is that their restrooms are disgustingly dirty, broken and unusable because there is feaces on the walls and floors.
