A must trail if you are in Cape Town. It took us 4 hours( 8km) but we were hiking at our own pace. Lots of uphil to get to the amphitheater. No scrambling involved.

Nice hike, but I wouldn't suggest to do it on a scorching hot day as there is no shade along the path (except for the start of the trail!) The climb is fairly easy and once at the top, you can follow a good numbers of trails. There is enough parking space on the side of the road, opposite the entrance of the trail.
