This was a surprise find... we had some time to spare while waiting for our friend and decided to pop into this museum for a quick one since it was free, and we were very very plasantly surprised by how good this museum was because most maritime museums were boring af... There were 3 levels of exhibition on all things maritime, and a special exhibition on fishing when we were there, and as boring as it sounds.. it was actually very well curated and the use of multimedia throughout the exhibition made these topics really interesting. Today's review is the National Marintime Museum of Korea located in Youngdo, Busan.

This Museum is a comprehensice maritime museum located in Youngdo, Busan that collects and displays artifacts found in the ocean and presents a vision for a comprehensive maritime future.

Admission is free and parking is 2,000won for the first three hours.

I strongly recommend it as one of the places to visit in...

There is a surround cinema that's also worth a visit, though it may not be suitable for young children. The top level has a cafe. Entry is free, and well worth a visit. You can get to it by bus or...
