Entry is free, but only suitable for a small group tour or on your own, as the building is cramped on the inside and they restrict the number of people that can be on the second floor at the same time for safety reasons. Overall a well-preserved historical building with most of its original elements untouched. Represents Korea's change towards European style architecture during the modern times with its unique middle ground of Japanese roofs and European brick walls. Most of the items on display were used by Republic of Korea's first president, Lee Seung-Man and his family. Recommended if you are interested in architectures, or Korean history in general.

**FYI travelers** - Entrance is free - The parking lot has a capacity of about 15 vehicles. - There is air-conditioning on the 1st floor. - Video materials in English are available on the 2nd floor. **Busan Historical Context** During the Korean War, Busan served as the capital city because other areas were dominated by North Korea. Higher educational institutions also established campuses in Busan and Yeongdo during this time. Over 30 million war refugees came to Busan, a city originally suitable for about 500,000 people. This influx led to the creation of notable tourist spots such as Gamcheon Cultural Village and Huinnyeoul Culture Village
