United Nations Peace Memorial Hall — Attraction in Busan

People skip visiting here because it is not very known and isn’t shown at Memorial Cemetery but it is definitely worth visiting. Going there on foot from cemetery take’s approximately 15 minutes and it’s uphill, but still worth it. There are exhibitions that shows the UN countries’ participation in Korean war and the items used during the war from each country. Very good museum about the Korean War, the role of the UN during the war and beyond, and the efforts of countries that participated in the UN mission.

I happened to visit during a special exhibition about Canada’s contributions and the sacrifices of its service members, which was moving to see. Also great to see a permanent exhibition dedicated to the work of the UN.
