People skip visiting here because it is not very known and isn’t shown at Memorial Cemetery but it is definitely worth visiting. Going there on foot from cemetery take’s approximately 15 minutes and it’s uphill, but still worth it. There are exhibitions that shows the UN countries’ participation in Korean war and the items used during the war from each country. Final exhibition is for the UN’s history, from its foundations to today. There is also a library at the 3rd floor which you can search for records about Korean war but they are mostly in Korean.

Very good museum about the Korean War, the role of the UN during the war and beyond, and the efforts of countries that participated in the UN mission. I happened to visit during a special exhibition about Canada’s contributions and the sacrifices of its service members, which was moving to see. Also great to see a permanent exhibition dedicated to the work of the UN. The English translations could be improved but the subject matter and content are absorbing all the same. Admission is free. Strongly recommended.

A must-visit in South Korea🇰🇷for a better understanding that how UN🇺🇳Forces helped South Korea🇰🇷to build their own country. Hopefully South Korea🇰🇷won’t take these significant sacrifices for granted! A FORCE for PEACE🕊️Afterwards, how UN🇺🇳helped South Korea🇰🇷to build their economy as well as “Modern Education”🎓However, SEXISM and discrimination are still serious issues in here, South Korea🇰🇷still has a long way to go!
