A perfect place to kill an hour or two in Busan. Interesting exhibitions with plenty of artefacts and comprehensive English translations. The factoid of Busan's car ownership increasing from 5,000 to 50,000 in ten years, then to 500,000 in another ten always sticks with me.
Also plenty on the Samurai invasions of Korea - much of the naval combat with the famous turtle ships took place along the nearby Gyeongsang-namdo coastline.
I also want to add that all the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Seems par for the course in Busan but definitely not in Korea as a whole, so they get credit for that.

Different types of hanbok on displays on mannequins. The guides are super nice and informative. The displays have good info on them too. Admission is free and I believe the museum has free guide service although the collections have English explanation for a self-guided tour.
