The Zoo of Morning Calm — Attraction in Gyeonggi

Super pricey for what you a actually get. Zoo is well maintained and clean but it’s pretty small for price. We paid about ₩40000 2 adults and two kids but to buy feed for the kids to feed the animals was another ₩5200 for some carrot sticks and crackers. This is basically a petting zoo for kids to feed some of the animals. Saddest thing was the Tiger exhibit(which the cage was really small) and one of the tigers had an injured leg and was clearly in pain and none of the staff did...

I won't recommend this place at all. I took my daughter today and had to see her disappointed. I had no idea how lazy animals would be on a rainy day. We saw only a couple of indoor animals and that was all. It would be proper to get discounted on rainy days since all animals were busy sleeping in their cages. 가평군 깊은 골짜기 속에 위치하여 아침고요수목원과 함께 운영 중인 민간운영 동물원이자 가평 추천 관광코스 중 하나인 여행장소. 입장료는 네이버페이 등 온라인 예약을 할 경우 수목원&동물원 기준으로 성인 19000원 (더 할인되는 시기도 있습니다.)이며, 방문하셔서 결제하셔도 1인 기준으로 크게 부담이 적은 가격입니다. 더불어 동물 간식비는 3천원으로 당근, 육포, 건빵 등을 지급받으실 수 있습니다. 바구니에 담아져있는데, 좀 오래 주고 싶으시면 2개 정도 추가 구매하시는 것이 좋아요! 은근 동물들이 많아서 간식이 적어보일 수도 있습니다! 민간 동물원이라서 토끼, 강아지 등 가정에서 잘 키우는 동물이 있을 거라고 생각할 수 있지만, 반달가슴곰이나 벵골호랑이 등의 맹수도 있으며 왈라비 등의 잘 보기 힘든 동물들 그리고 강아지도 종별로 다양하게 지내고 있을 만큼 생각 이상으로 규모가 큽니다. 사육 중인 동물들 상태도 상당히 양호하며 주기적으로 창문청소, 막사 청소, 건강 관리 체크 등이 진행될 만큼 관리도 아주 잘 되어지고 있어요! 더불어 오후 시간에는 각종 체험 프로그램까지 있을 만큼 매우 다양한 재미가 있습니다. 대신 수목원과 꽤 떨어져있으며, 동물원 자체도 동물 건강을 위해서인지 더욱 외진 장소에 마련이 되어있습니다. 대략 수목원에서 도보로 15분은 넘게 걸리니 만약 택시를...
