This is a wonderful place to come on a weekday as there is more parking available and a more relaxed atmosphere at the water park. They have indoor and outdoor facilities. It is better to find tickets online at a discounted price rather than waiting and buying at the door.
Once you ride the escalator up to the shoe locker area, you will find your locker number on your receipt, put your shoes in the locker and take the key into the changing room where they will give you two towels for your use.
They have shampoo and face/body wash and conditioner provided. It looks to be like an environmentally friendly brand without harsh additives. In the locker rooms they provide toner and lotion for face and body and a special EWG lotion for babies and people with sensitive skin. They even have hair essence by the same brand.
There are hot and cold sauna tubs, a steam room, and an outdoor hot bath that you can use before or after your swimming. Please wash all of the shampoo and body soap off before entering, though.
To go swimming, you need to first get your swimming floaties, towel, etc in a bag, put on your swimming suit, take your things and put them in the cubby in the hallway, and wash up in the sauna. If you try to take your swimming floaties out of your locker after washing up, you will end up getting the floor wet and people will be unhappy.
Indoor facilities are basically broken into adults section and people with children section. There are not many differences between them except for the temperature and the length of the lazy river. People still bring their children into the longer lazy river. They have two slides but only one was operating the afternoon we were there. If you are an American and used to American splash pads, be aware that this facility is all stone. There is no soft flooring, so put your child in aqua shoes so that they do not flip on the flooring. Also be aware that the plastic statues of cars and fish do not seem to be cleaned well, so they have mold and mildew build up.
There are lounge chairs and lounge beds available for a fee, and a little pool with a rolling plastic see-through tube that your child or you can get into and "walk on water" for a short period of time for extra money.
There is a snack bar and a dinner place and the prices are higher but not outrageous.
We need to take the elevator or the stairs next to the kiddie area in order to go to the roof. The roof in the winter is only the infinity pool and a hot tub. The hot tub is really hot, so if you have someone who overheats easily, it is better for them not to go in. The infinity pool is warm but not hot. It is okay for a toddler to go in i springtime, but in the winter it might be too much of a difference in error temperature between body and head.
When you are done swimming, you should collect your things and head into your locker room hallway and take a shower with your swimming suit on, take your swimming suit off and put it in a plastic bag that is provided hanging on the wall, wring out everything and put everything in the cubbies, and then take a real shower and enjoy the sauna. Before entering the locker room you should dry off most of the way and then head to the powder room area to use the lotions and hair dryer they provide. I do not recommend using the brushes.
Once you have everything arranged and ready to go, put your two towels into the laundry bin, take your locker key and go back to the shoe locker area through the way you came in. You need to take your locker key to a kiosk on the opposite wall and pay any outstanding fees if you overspent your time or purchased any items. Once you settle on payments, you can unlock your shoes and go down the...
Read moreWe came here on a Friday afternoon. Entrance fee for the jjimjilbang and waterpark was 55000won per adult for 6 hours. There were alot of foreigners. It is located on the 3rd floor in the mall. The outdoor pool is open until 6pm and the indoor waterpark is open until 7pm. It was a bit confusing where to shower after u play at the waterpark. You can’t wear wet swimwear into the locker room so you have to remove all your swimwear and go naked to the locker room. I left my towel in the locker but no matter how I tried to explain to the staff that I just wanted to get a towel, they gestured to me to remove my swimwear. There were no signs how to enter the big baths and when we entered, some Korean aunties chased us out because we didn’t have a towel to wrap our hair with. From their gestures, I gathered that if you have long hair, you need to use the towel to wrap up your hair before you enter the big baths. It’s definitely a relatively new and upmarket jjimjilbang priced for tourists. 3 eggs 4000won, sikhe 5500won, jjajangmyeon 10000won. Full body massage inside the locker room bath area 100000won for 60 min but 154000won for 60 min at the jjimjilbang area. It’s a...
Read moreWell made. The spacious infiniti pool on the rooftop--with the scenic view of the mountains in the background--was absolutely amazing! But, the admission tickets were very pricey for what they included. (We bought ours at TMON site, which was cheaper.) But regardless, the reclining chairs and places to sit down were way too expensive! (Yes, they charge you separately for them.) Moreover, they don't rent out tubes for kids, but only sell them. And, let me just say that they aren't cheap. In fact, the starting price for them was ₩27,000. Also, I was disappointed in the foodcourt. There was an unpleasant smell inside. And, the floor wasn't exactly nice to walk on. It was the same inside the bathroom stalls--the floor looked dirty.
Keep in mind that you are allowed to bring food inside, so it may be a good idea to pack your own snack or something. Plus, bring your own tube and things of that nature.
All in all, the pools were nice, and it's a wonderful place for kids and families. But, I do hope that they would improve the foodcourt and the floors in the...
