La Vie D'or Resort — Attraction in Hwaseong-si

From the design and fittings, I can see that this hotel was once a 5 star hotel. But the poor maintenance make it a deserted castle now. ||The room is actually quite clean, but its aged fittings make it feel like haunted. Refrigerator is provided but no kettle. Water dispenser is only located at 6th and 12th floor. ||We reached there at night and left the hotel early in the morning. So I did not really try any of its facilities. No WIFI in the room. The aircond of the room is pre-set at lowest 23 celcius degree whch make us feel a bit hot during our stay.||As this hotel is arranged by our travel agent, I am not too sure about the price. But if you are looking for a place for you to relax and rest, I would not highly recommend you...

This hotel is so far away from Seoul. We had a conference at Sintex next door so we stayed closest to it. The room are OK but older style. It really needs updating. The food in the restaurant was not great. The staff speaks little English but they were very helpful. The internet in my room did not work. When I was there, the maintenance guys were all around doing their tasks during the day. I find that it spoils the look and feel of the place. The golf course looks nice but I did not get a chance to play on it. I wish I did. It is probably a place to stay...

The first room assigned to us was dirty. Both of the beds were unmade and the bathroom was filthy. The trash hadn’t been taken out either. We had to go back to the front desk to request another room. This hotel looks as if it use to be nice. It is very dated. They offer you free breakfast but the catch is, it is only for one person. Each additional person has to pay 16k won. Breakfast buffet was not worth the money. The bathroom adjacent from the breakfast bistro was not clean either. It also had a leak that left puddles all over the floor. I would not...
